This is just too pretty. I came across it by accident while looking for something else and it is just so pretty and Horus is just sooooo cute with his chunky bird cheeks, I had to post it. It is in the British Museum and it is made of silver.
Egypt has no native silver supply and it was quite rare, so silver was worth far more than gold in ancient Egypt and was used sparingly.
