This red lion is my favorite piece so far. I don't know why I love it so much unless it reminds me of Gilligan. I'll try to get better pictures of it. It is currently housed in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. It is made of polished ceramic and dates to the Old Kingdom but I don't know which dynasty.
